He has also been invited as a music expert and adjudicator at youth festivals of various universities across Punjab and Haryana, including Panjab University, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjabi University, Patiala, Kurukshetra University, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and Rohilkhand University, Agra. Additionally, he has served as a member of the Music Board of Studies at Panjab University since 1997, completing three terms.

Scholarships

Ministry of Human Resources and Cultural Affairs, New Delhi has given junior as well as senior scholarship in vocal classical music to the talented students under his guidance.

Publication Work

He is the author of several important publications on Indian music. His works include Bharatiya Sangeet Ke Aapt Rishi Acharya Brahaspati – Ek Adhyayan (2003), Sangeet Chintan – Pratham Khand (2004), How to Play Harmonium (2009), Great Masters of Indian Music (2010), Acharya Brahaspati Smriti Granth (2011), Riyasat Rampur Aur Sangeet (2016), and Bhartiya Sangeet Mein Granth Lekhan Ki Parampara (2016).

Books Complied

Presently working on SERIES OF RAGA RAHASYA (Volumes I to VII) has written by late Dr. Acharya K C D Brahaspati and Vidushi Sulochana Brahaspati. Volumes I to V have been published.

Organized music Seminar

• A seminar sponsored by Brahaspati kala Kendra and research Institute, Sedbhavana Arts (Regd.) and Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi on 8th August, 2003. Many reputed artists of the country from different gharanas participated in lecture-cum- - 4 - demonstration and about 200 delegates and students of various colleges of Chandigarh and different parts of the country also attended the seminar.
• Topic of the seminar was “Bhartiya Sangeet Ke Khayal Gayan Ke Vibhinna Gharano Kee Prarambhik Shiksha”. Local newspaper has given a wide coverage of the seminar and it was highly appreciated by the listeners and the lecturers and students of music benefitted from this type of seminar.
• Organised seminar in the year 2005 titled MALHAR UTSAV in which prominent performers of India like Pt.L.K.Pandit, Dr. Ajit Singh Paintal, Smt. Sulochana Brahaspati, Late Dr. Sharayu Kalekar, Sri. Keshav Talegionkar, Sri. Hari Dev were present.
• Organized a U.G.C. Sponsered seminar titled “Bhartiya Sangeet ke Khayal Gayan Ke Gharano Kee Prarambhik Shiksha” on 1st to 2nd February 2006 in Govt. College for Girls, sectors 42, Chandigarh.
